Description

We organize on a daily basis an exploratory walking tour in the SELDJA Mountains in Metlaoui, which is an extension of the Atlas Mountains chain, within the framework of eco-tourism or mountain and sports tourism.
This visit aims to discover beautiful natural mountain trails in addition to theh most important archaeological and historical sites, and to identify the most important successive civilizations on Tunisia in particular and North Africa in general.
This visit also supports nature walks on rural and mountainous paths
*Trip itinerary:
-Visit the entrance to the SELDJA Mountains
-Visiting the site of the Islamic Zirid civilization and its presence at the tops of the SELDJA Mountains
-Visit the mountain oasis on foot
-Passing through the seven tunnels through which the phosphate train passes, which dates back to the French colonization of Tunisia in the late 18th century
-Back to the entrance where is the camping place
-Dinner with a Tunisian folkloric evening
*Accommodation:
you will be in small portable tents against rain and wind equipped with winter camping supplies, each tent accommodates two people
*Eating:
Lunch and dinner on this trip consist of healthy and natural foods prepared on the spot in nature (Bedouin bread cooked on the sand, grilled salad on charcoal, natural olive oil, grilled quail, grilled wild mountain pigeon, grilled lamb in jar is the traditional way of the people of North Africa, green tea with mint, natural dairy..)
The morning breakfast consists of: natural date jam - Tunisian olive oil - goat cheese with natural wreath - natural dairy - Bedouin bread - green tea - juice of natural season fruits - Tunisian dates "DEGLA" - natural local sweets - Arabic coffee-chicken eggs- natural honey)
