Ayuthaya, one of the best tourist attractions for one day trips

The ancient capital of Siam, as Thailand was previously known, is one of the best tourist attractions in Thailand. Located about an hour’s ride from Bangkok, it can be reached not only by train, motor-bike, bus, or taxi, but also on scenic boat and minivan one day trips.

The one day trips start at  Central Bangkok, and end at the outskirts of the town; on your round trips you can see a myriad of Buddhist temples, which can take weeks if visited separately. After a short minivan ride, you will find yourself in ancient Ayuthaya.
